Every day until Christmas Day we will continue to post one interiors object/design suggestion, as part of our very first Interiors Advent Calendar. Design lovers can now rejoice, as chances are we’ve made Christmas shopping a lot easier for many of you.
Today marks the nineteenth day of our Interiors Advent Calendar, so we’ve decided to keep looking at decorative elements as Christmas present ideas. For 19th December, we’re pleased to present this absolutely stunning triptych from David Linley.
The British design brand has a long and impressive history as a purveyor of luxury and high quality interior design work. So, their accessories have obviously maintained the standard bar extremely high. In 2012, when London was celebrating the Olympic Games, David Linley was releasing The London Triptych, a beautiful and stylish decorative object framed in walnut, depicting the River Thames and London’s prized landmarks.
Using specially hand-dyed veneers of grey and black eucalyptus and grey ripple sycamore, the dramatic scene has been highlighted in mother of pearl, the traditional gift associated with 30th anniversaries. Linley’s commemorative plaque is place at the back of the centre panel.
Have a look at Linley’s website for more details and think of some beautiful words to go with it, as the brand offers complimentary engraving on all orders.
